Abstract
The integral equation for the quasi-transverse approximation of the ionospheric propagation, relating the collision frequency function of height with the measured power reflection coefficients for different signal frequencies, is formulated and solved in a closed form, using the Wentzel-Kramer-Brillouin (WKB) approximation.
