Abstract :
Pei and Hsue (IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Vol. 13, No. 6, pp. 329-332, June 2006) proposed an encryption scheme based on multiple-parameter discrete fractional Fourier transform. We show that all the building blocks of this scheme are linear, and hence, breaking this scheme, using a known plaintext attack, is equivalent to solving a set of linear equations.
