  • Abstract
    A general technique for the synthesis of antenna power patterns is presented which does not require the calculation of derivatives. Based on the method of successive projections, it leads to a fast and simple algorithm. An example is presented for a satellite antenna giving hemispheric coverage from a directly radiating horn array.
