Abstract
Using the fast Fourier transform (FFT) to compute the convolution integrals that appear in the conjugate-gradient method (CGM), an efficient numerical procedure to solve electromagnetic problems is obtained. In comparison with the method of moments (MM), the proposed FFT-CGM avoids the storage of large matrices and reduces the computer time by orders of magnitude.
