Abstract :
The design method of a high power CW nonreciprocal phase shifter has been developed considering the temperature distribution and thermal stress in the ferrite. The theoretically calculated temperature is confirmed experimentally using CW 5 kW microwaves at 2450 MHz. The design procedure is applied to the development of a CW 500 kW nonreciprocal phase shifter at 915 MHz.
