Abstract :
A multichannel coherent subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) system using standard distributed-feedback lasers is discussed. A simple phase noise canceling circuit yields excellent quality FM video transmission (SNR=56 dB), even though the 50-MHz IF linewidth exceeds the 30-MHz signal bandwidth.<>
