Abstract :
The stochastic transmission line laser model (TLLM) is extended to allow above-threshold spectra to be simulated deterministically. The deterministic TLLM is compatible with the stochastic TLLM, but is, however, more suitable for identifying the effects of parameter changes on the lasing spectrum which would be obscured by noise in the stochastic TLLM. The model gives results in excellent agreement with a frequency-domain model.
