Abstract :
This paper describes a parallel resonant inverter that uses an inductor-transformer, both as an output matching device and as one of the resonant components. The basic operation of the inverter is described and an efficient method of directly predicting the steady state performance is outlined. Typical operating characteristics are presented and a comparison with experimental data is made.
