Abstract :
Robust detectors must be designed to obtain a constant probability of false alarm in an unknown clutter environment. A change to a standard `greatest-of¿ detector is proposed to adapt the threshold according to an estimated clutter shape factor. Results are presented for both Weibull and log-normal assumptions.
