            Abstract : 
NdDyFeCoTi amorphous film we have developed has desirable properties for magneto-optical recording, because recording properties are improved by adding Nd. Typical composition is (Nd0.2Dy0.8)26(Fe0.65Co0.30 Ti0.05)74. Moreover reproducibility of the film is improved, since one can easily produce a cast alloy target which contains less impurities. Nd plays essential roles both in forming a cast alloy target and in improving the recording properties.
