Abstract :
Using the real time compensation architecture for the gain and phase imbalance, a novel method for the spurious signal rejection of a direct conversion transmitter is presented in this paper. By deriving the gain- and phase-based functions from spurious signals with the channel imbalance information, the gain and phase imbalance is determined independently and simultaneously. The spurious signal can be effectively reduced by the compensation of the estimated I/Q-channel imbalance.
