  • Abstract
    The diffraction coefficients describing scattering from an edged body in the physical theory of diffraction are reformulated so as to provide improved behavior in the neighborhood of singularities. Numerical results show that as singularities are approached, the reformulated coefficients are better behaved than the original by several orders of magnitude.
