  • Abstract
    An expression, suitable for a small desk-top computer, is presented to calculate the time domain envelope of a rectangular pulse reflected from a sech2model ionosphere and observed at the output of a simple receiver bandpass filter. Ionospheric, source pulse, and filter parameters can be varied to estimate distortion characteristics of the received pulse.
