Comments on ´Automated calibration of a fuzzy logic controller using a cell state space algorithm´ (with reply)

A shortcoming of the method presented in the above-titled article (ibid., vol.2, no.5, pp.18-28, Aug. 1991) when it is applied to a particular plant, namely, a DC motor with angular position feedback, is pointed out by the commenter. The authors elaborate on this shortcoming and correct some errors in the article.<>
