Abstract :
Since its start in 1981 to develop a large-capacity, commercial superconducting generator, Toshiba has been conducting basic studies of superconducting generators. As a summary of basic studies, a 3000kVA superconducting generator test model was manufactured and submitted to various tests. In this paper, the electrical and cryogenic characteristics of this test model are described.
