Abstract
The probability models of TV set technological training and guarantee service are considered. Methods of these models parameter estimation are proposed. The main result is the determination of the optimal preliminary and final training routine using the current technological training data. The failure rate of just assembled TV sets is comparatively high at the beginning of its operation but it gradually decreases to a constant level. The presence of this initial "burn in" period makes the implementation of TV set technological training necessary. Defective items are eliminated and the failure rate becomes smaller or constant after this training
