Abstract :
We present measured noise spectra for heterodyne optical receivers with front-end tuning based on a T-equivalent circuit of transformer coupling. A noise spectral density below 6pA/¿(Hz) over a 1-3 GHz bandwidth is demon-strated, even with parasitic capacitances totalling 2 pF.
