  • Abstract
A bubble was translated in continuous circular motion in a rotating gradient experiment. Bias pulses were applied to a circulating S=1 bubble. As a result of the pulses, a Bloch line pair was added to the S=1, p=0 bubble, and a Bloch line pair was either added to or subtracted from the S=1, p=2 bubble. The risetime and pulse amplitude needed to cause a state change were measured. The experimental data agreed with calculated values for risetimes less than 150 ns in duration. Data from the annihilation of Bloch lines in the S=1, p=2 bubble yielded information on the Bloch line mobility
