Abstract :
Z. Doganata and P.P. Vaidyanathan (ibid., vol.CAS-34, no.12, p.1608-9, 1987) investigated one-multiplier realizations for certain finite impulse response (FIR) lossless lattice structures and obtained a complex one-multiplier realization. Here, the author further investigates one-multiplier realizations. Based on the eigendecomposition of the associated transformation matrix, several one-multiplier realizations are derived. These realizations require less adders and rotations as compared to the previously reported realizations
