Abstract :
The author introduces a very sensitive, highly integrated UHF paging receiver which is based on the offset-receiver principle and is fully compatible with all FSK (frequency-shift-keying) modulated systems (512 b/s and 1200 b/s). The IC is fabricated using an advanced bipolar UHF process, has a typical current consumption of only 3 mA at 2-V supply voltage, and is in a 28-pin SO (small outline) package for automated assembly. Test results are presented
