Abstract :
The commenters point out that, in the above-titled paper by V. Mandrangeas et al. (ibid., vol.40, no.1, p.120-127, Jan. 1992), two filters employing dielectric resonators are called elliptic filters, though they cannot be classified in this category. The original authors contend that most people use the word elliptic instead of quasi-elliptic or pseudo-elliptic suggested by the commenters. The commenters, in further comments, respond to this contention.<>
