Abstract
We have observed inductance effects as well as current-controlled switching in oxidized vanadium foils at room temperature. The inductance was found to be strongly dependent upon dc bias current, but independent of frequency. For the case of zero dc bias, inductances in excess of 100 mH were observed; however, the
of the structure was quite low.
