Abstract :
A simple strategy to generate interleaver sets is proposed. Possible applications include interleave-division multiplexing (IDM), interleave-division multiple access (IDMA), and related techniques such as multi-layer IDMA (ML-IDMA). Compared to the interleavers proposed in the literature, helical interleavers can be generated more efficiently, and require less bits to specify the interleaver patterns.
