A note on "Effects of relatively strong fields on the propagation of EM waves through a hypersonically produced plasma"

It is noted that the comments of Anderson (ibid, this issue, pp. 337-338, May 1960) regarding the typographical errors of B₂ and π, and the definition of ν, an effective collision frequency, for insertion into the classical equations are correct. The deviation in our simplified conductivity based on a mean velocity fo is, however, essentially 0.18 and not 0.82.
