  • Abstract
    The resonant cavity model is used to analyse a microstrip patch antenna for which a closed form solution to the E-field distribution does not exist. A finite difference technique is applied to obtain approximations to the fields. Measured and calculated resonance frequencies, and E-field distributions are compared.
