Abstract :
The authors deal with the analysis of a disc monopole with the method of moments (MOM) procedure using triangular cells. An accurate annular ring of magnetic currents models the feeding connector. This technique avoids the introduction of an attachment mode at the antenna-to-SMA connector junction. This method gives the theoretical input impedance of a disc monopole within a wide frequency band. Measurements and theory are in good agreement.
