  • Abstract
    This paper shows experiments of 100 Mb/s digital transmission characteristics using Pr/sup +3/-doped fluoride fiber amplifier at 1.3 μm band. As a result, the transmission length could be extended 27.4 km corresponding to amplifier gain with no degradation in the transmission quality.
