Abstract
This paper focuses on the analysis of the effect of oscillator phase-noise on OFDMA waveforms. First, general uplink OFDMA signal model is described with transmitter and receiver phase noises. Then, the signal-to-interference+noise ratio is analysed in phase noise corrupted OFDMA link. The analysis is based on accurate statistical analysis of the phase noise process, and it is carried out for arbitrary subcarrier mapping and channel frequency response. The results are then verified with simulator.
