Abstract :
The discrete Pascal transform has been recently introduced. It provides an interesting and useful technique for obtaining closed-form expressions for certain combinatorial sums involving binomial coefficients. It is demonstrated that the discrete Pascal transform of a Poisson sequence leads to the Laguerre polynomials.
