Abstract
A new architecture, one.world, provides an integrated, comprehensive framework for building pervasive applications. It targets applications that automatically adapt to highly dynamic computing environments, and it includes services that make it easier for developers to manage constant change. We illustrate the metrics for designing and evaluating pervasive computing systems. The performance measurements are done using Sun´s Java Hotspot virtual machine.
