Regulation of privatised utilities-a new approach
Abstract :
Recent criticisms of the UK privatised electric utilities have revived public and Institution interest in the problem of regulating the prices and profits of monopolies in private ownership. This article proposes a fresh approach to that problem and reviews two new methods of regulation in the light of that approach.<>
