Introducing T-BME Letters

The IEEE EMB Society is announcing the creation of T ??BME Letters, a new manuscript format in the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering. T-BME Letters seek contributions that are novel, timely and with a potential high impact. T-BME Letters are subject to the same stringent peer review process of all T-BME manuscripts but they will be accessible in IEEEXplore under a special link within two months of submission, and appear later in printed form in independent supplements of the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering. Hence, T-BME Letters combine the individuality and rapid dissemination of results achievable with electronic journals with the archival value of "in print" publications.
