  • Abstract
    Using two samples per symbol, the auto-covariance function of raised cosines is derived in closed form for one/two-dimensional signal constellations. The result is applied to the computation of the self-noise variance for feedback symbol-timing recovery with zero-crossing and Gardner detectors.
