Abstract :
Thin-film polycrystalline CdS/Cu2S photovoltaic solar cells with terrestrial energy conversion efficiencies in sunlight up to 7.8 percent have been developed. The major improvements are due to the increased optical transmission and electrical contact properties of the current collection system.
