Abstract :
The introduction of nearly error-free DC quantum standards of voltage and ohm is a challenge for precision metrology to improve the precision of measurements. Therefore, the principles and the performance of DC resistance bridges with the cryogenic current comparator and the Josephson potentiometer are discussed and their figures of merit are established, showing the present state of the art and the limitations given by the noise of the detectors and the quality of available resistance standards
