Abstract :
The AC magnetization loss of a HTS coated conductor under the external AC magnetic field is analyzed using the finite element method taking account of the nonlinear E-J characteristic and the nonlinear magnetic property of a substrate at 77 K. The AC loss characteristic including the loss of the substrate under the external AC magnetic field is examined. Furthermore, we compared our numerical results of the AC magnetization loss with experimental results and examined the validity of our calculation.
