Abstract :
The authors have proposed a technique for determining magnetic parameters based on the bubble model modified for exchange-coupled double layer (ECDL) films. This technique was applied to direct overwritable ECDL media. It was found that wall coercivity of single layer films differs from that of the corresponding layers in ECDL films and interface wall energy changes with the shape of bubble domains. The experimental results indicate that the magnetic parameters obtained using this model are effective for understanding the phenomena concerning magnetooptical recording
