Abstract :
A simple asymptotic expression for the reflection coefficient at the feed of a reflector-radome configuration, consisting of bodies of revolution having a common axis, is obtained by the complex source point method. This expression is shown to be valid in situations in which the corresponding geometric optical formulation fails, thereby establishing a generalisation of the real ray result
