Abstract
A microprocessor-based signature verification system is described. It is based on the fact that the pressure features of a signature, besides being invisible, are unique to the person signing it. The system extracts the various features from a signature pressure waveform and compares them with those previously stored in a database. Tolerances of the various features can easily be adjusted for different objectives to suit different environments. The test results for the verification of the system have been excellent
