Abstract :
The authors present a design chart and a manufacturing process for millimetre-wave absorbers consisting of two spacers and two resistive sheets. The conventional design chart gives sufficient information to enable a desired absorber to be made. On the basis of the chart, a multilayered type absorber was manufactured and it has a significant absorption level (⩽-20 dB) at a wide-frequency range of 46-66 GHz
