Abstract :
At ISSCC six experts (Thomas Lee, Nicky Lu, Rinaldo Castello, Yoshiaki Hagihara, Eric Vittoz, Robert Brodersen) were invited from academia and industry "to dig into their memories and find lost treasures in circuit design." They were asked specifically "to reveal circuits and concepts that they feel are the most interesting, intriguing, and under-appreciated innovations from the past" and to "explain why the concept is significant today and should be pulled from the innovation attic." Panel moderators were Anantha Chandrakasan and Bram Nauta. Highlights are reportred. A full-length antique account will appear in the Summer 2013 issue of IEEE Solid-State Circuits Magazine.
