  • Abstract
In the conventional conveyance system, noise, friction and vibration occur under operation. We have developed the hybrid magnetically levitated system. In this system, pinning force of high temperature bulk super conductor is used for the levitation and guidance. This system needs no control system for levitation and guidance. To increase levitation force, repulsive force of the permanent magnet is used. The method of the propulsion for this hybrid conveyance system is considered. The basic design and propulsion method is shown. Influence of the propulsion system on pinning force, levitation and guidance characteristics of the carrier is shown. The carrier shows stable levitation using the new propulsion method.
