Abstract
Standards of capacity for use with radio frequency currents, made according to a suggestion of the former Lord Rayleigh, are described. A simple method of increasing the sensitivity of the thermo-couple galvanometer system for indicating resonance is mentioned. Metallic discs and small tpheres were found to be erratic standards, because of unavoidable effects of she connecting wires. The measured capacities of small paralle plate condensers were in agreement with the capacities calculated from the dimensions.
