Abstract :
New methods for ensuring tape running stability and track straightness that enable highly precise real-time monitoring of tape motion on the helix guides of the drums were developed. Since these mechanical conditions have the greatest effect on the interchangeability, the interchangeability improved significantly after these conditions were optimized. The steps taken to optimize tape running stability and track straightness are described in detail
