Abstract :
A microcontroller-based score card for golf is described. In addition to routine score keeping, it is able to provide analytical functions. The score card keeps score for up to four players for an 18-hole course and simultaneously displays player, hole number, par, strokes (and putts) for instant comparison. To cater for play at different courses, reprogramming capability is built into the electronic score card. Score keeping for different-colored tees is also provided. A display summary is built in to enhance the score card. In addition, a time mode for a world-time clock/calendar for numerous regional cities is provided
