Abstract :
A general method for the solution of ac low frequency electric fields in insulating systems is proposed. The method is based on decoupling Maxwell´s equations, and their solution can beimplemented analytically or numerically. The finite difference numerical method is easily implemented to solve the field in polluted insulators.
