Abstract :
There are considered the mechanism of radiation and reception in radio communication. The design of the transmitting equipment is compared with the design of the usual alternators and power plants of electrical engineering. The main problems encountered are described, and an account is given of the solutions obtained. The development of the Radio Central Station for telegraphy and telephony is discussed, its arrangements described, and its usefulness indicated.
