Abstract
An alternative view of the behavior of magnetostatic and time harmonic systems when dual potential formulations are incorporated with a mesh refinement scheme is proposed. Its arguments are based on an equivalent circuit view of the field problem. The bounded nature of solutions is discussed in circuit terms
