  • Abstract
    The field distribution of a ¿uniform field¿ electrode system which is usually employed in studying the particle initiated breakdown in SF6 and other compressed gases is analyzed by using the charge simulation method. The results indicate that field distribution of such a system is non-uniform under certain conditions and needs careful evaluation.
