Abstract :
This article describes the realization of a packaged filter presented in 2008 at the IMS student contest held in Atlanta. Our aim was to design and fabricate a packaged planar X-band bandpass filter with optimum performance while using the Stratedge package (FP118118-1). The filter topology in use is the capacitive-coupled dual behavior resonator (CCDBR). It is implemented in microstrip technology on a classical alumina substrate.
